Default Rd 4 DH Race easy push-up & ripper category 14th March

Rd 4 DH Race easy push-up & ripper category 14th March.

*Easy push-up
*Fun fast track
*Three timed runs
*All timed runs combined
*Ripper category
*Real metal trophies
*BC ranking points
*Best way to try racing
*Mum's cake and fajitas

We had a great (but moist) weekend with RD 3 but look how good the weather is now!! The final round of our winter series will be real cracker having a different format making the racing more fun and the push-up real easy. The track will use a selection of trails from the top making the push-up a joy - you'll start from the platform, down the dual track, onto the redeveloped Wiggly Woo (loads of fun berms and mini tables) and finish at the end of the rooty section on just before HSE. Push-up will be dead easy going back up the fire road, this will give you about a 40 sec timed run and push-up of around 5mins so you'll get more practice runs.

Because the course is much shorter than normal we can offer for the first time a ripper category (under 12yrs) and run the race over 3 timed runs combined putting the emphasise on constancy rather than all out speed. As with all our races BC points will be awarded as well real metal trophies for every top three riders in all categories.

All the normal fun of the fair will be there including having the cafe in full swing producing only the finest warm food and drinks to keep you happy including Mum's cake, the new Fajitas (or wraps as there known) plus lots of other goodies also Ben's Torico's shop will be on hand as ever to provide you all the bits you need.

The weather on met check looks good for the next few weeks, so fingers crossed http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/7days.asp

Format on the Day: 08.00am Sign-in and course open to inspection by foot/ 09.00am Sign-in on the day (if available) closes/ 9.30am Practice starts/ 11.am Sign-in closes/ 12pm - Practice ends and racing starts/ 4.00pm Racing finishes, (can go on a little longer) 4.30pm Prize giving Times can variety due to weather etc.
